American Institute for Civic Leadership (AICL)

Competition

Each year, states host the Statewide Civic Innovation Competition:

• Middle School Division: Historical parallels and civic solutions

• High School Division: Constitutionally grounded policy proposals

Judging is blind, neutral, and academic.

Outstanding proposals may be shared with civic leaders and policymakers for educational review and discussion.
